  This store used to be my favorite place for crafts and fabric, but the last couple of years it seems to be going downhill a bit. Part of that is maybe that they seem to have a lot of turnover so maybe employees aren't there long enough to be fully trained. It used to be that if I had questions about what type of fabric to use, or the difference between cotton and poly batting, or other sort of basic questions like that, there was an employee who could help me. But most of the employees now seem to be trained on cutting fabric and running a register, but have little knowledge of fabric and crafts. It's fine because I can usually find the answers online, but it just seems less like a specialty shop. In addition, I usually go during the daytime rather than evening and they seem to be perpetually understaffed--long lines for cutting and long lines for paying. That said, they generally have the products I need and the coupons are a great incentive, so I still go.
